Here are some tips on how to best manage your skin care products!
Store everything from direct sunlight - sunlight reduces the product's durability. Note that this is especially true for products that contain sensitive ingredients such as vitamin C, retinol, and benzoyl peroxide. Therefore, store your products in a cupboard, drawer, or lid-mounted drawer. If you want to carry products in your handbag, we recommend that you first place them in a nesse box with a zipper to further protect them from light.
Store things outside the bathroom. Heat and moisture shorten the life of skin care products, cosmetics and even perfumes. It can therefore be a good idea to place a storage cabinet just outside the bathroom, so it is easy to access, but still outside the heat and steam from the bathroom.
Products that should be stored in the refrigerator. Organic skin care should be stored in the refrigerator. This prevents mold and gives a longer shelf life. A good rule of thumb is that a product without preservatives should be stored in the refrigerator. Other products that can be good to have in the fridge are soothing masks or creams, cold causes the blood vessels to constrict and reduces redness and inflammation.
